MY STORY · MY VALUES · MY APPROACH

FROM FRUSTRATION TO PURPOSE

I know what it feels like to know you’re capable of more — and still struggle to make it happen.

I DIDN’T SET OUT

TO BECOME A BUSINESS MENTOR.

 I WANTED TO BUILD

A LIFE ON MY OWN TERMS.

HEY,I’M

ALESSIA,

I’ve always believed that life can offer more than following a predetermined path.

I wanted the FREEDOM to make my own decisions, pursue ambitious ideas, do meaningful work, and create something of my own.

That desire has shaped many of the decisions I’ve made, from my education and professional career to my transition into hypnotherapy, coaching and, eventually, business mentoring.

But along the way, I discovered something I hadn’t anticipated: having the expertise, motivation, and even the right intentions doesn’t automatically mean you know how to turn them into a successful business.

And that realisation is at the heart of what I do today.

FROM BUSINESS
TO THE HELPING PROFESSION

My professional background began in International Economic Relations.

I was interested in how businesses operate, how markets work and what makes commercial activities viable.

Over the years, I gained experience in different areas, including marketing, sales, communications, events, research and business operations. These experiences shaped the way.

I think: I naturally look for connections, patterns, opportunities and practical solutions.

At the same time, I was exploring personal development and trying to understand how our beliefs, decisions and internal experiences influence the lives we create.

Eventually, I discovered hypnotherapy. My own experience with it inspired me to train and qualify as a hypnotherapist.

I became fascinated by the relationship between our internal beliefs and our ability to make changes in our lives.

It brought together two things that mattered to me: understanding people and helping them move forward.

I initially thought that becoming qualified and developing my skills would be enough to build an independent business.

I had experience in business, marketing and sales, so I assumed I would know how to put everything together.

I WAS WRONG.

THE GAP QUALIFICATION AND BUSINESS

I discovered that knowing how to help people and knowing how to build a business around that expertise are two very different things.

I had ideas, qualifications and skills.

I explored different directions, learned new approaches and invested in further development.

Yet I still faced uncertainty about positioning, choosing the right audience, creating an offer, communicating its value and attracting clients consistently.

At times, I was working harder than I had in employment, but without the clarity or predictability I had expected.

I kept looking for answers, sometimes believing that another skill, another strategy or another change of direction would make the difference.

What I was missing was not simply more information. I needed to understand how all the elements of a business fitted together and which decisions actually mattered.

That experience changed the way I think about business development.

I began to recognise the difference between being busy building individual pieces and deliberately building a business in which those pieces support one another.

I also realised that uncertainty about the business can easily become uncertainty about yourself.

When you don’t know what to do next or why something isn’t working, it’s tempting to question your abilities, delay decisions or start again.

This is where business strategy and mindset meet.

WHY I CHOSE TO HELP
COACHES AND PRACTITIONERS

I BELIEVE YOUR EXPERIENCE DESERVES A BUSINESS THAT WORKS.

I know how much effort goes into becoming qualified to help others.

Coaches and practitioners invest in their education, develop their methods and often have a genuine commitment to making a difference.

Yet professional training rarely prepares you for everything involved in running a business.

You may know how to facilitate a transformation for your client, but still struggle to explain your own value to the market.

You may be excellent at what you do, but unsure how to position your expertise, develop a compelling offer, attract clients or sell your services.

And when the business doesn’t progress as expected, the uncertainty can become personal.

I’ve experienced the frustration of having skills and ambition but not knowing how to translate them into a coherent business.

I understand how easy it is to get caught between learning more, changing direction and wondering whether the effort will ever pay off.

That’s why I chose to focus my mentoring on this particular transition:

FROM QUALIFIED EXPERT TO BUSINESS OWNER.

I want to help practitioners avoid spending years collecting disconnected pieces without understanding how to turn them into a business.

My intention is to help them build a foundation, take their business to market and develop the mindset and practical skills to keep improving it.

MY APPROACH:
BUILD THE BUSINESS
AND THE PERSON WHO RUNS IT

I don’t believe business challenges can always be solved with another marketing tactic.

Nor do I believe that every business problem is a mindset problem.

Sometimes the offer isn’t clear. Sometimes the positioning doesn’t reflect what the client actually wants. Sometimes the marketing isn’t reaching the right audience. Sometimes the business owner understands what needs to happen but keeps postponing the action.

These situations require different solutions.

My approach combines strategic business mentoring with targeted mindset and identity work.

1. Understand before changing.

We start by looking at what you’ve already built, what is working, what is missing and where the real bottleneck may be. Rather than automatically introducing another strategy, we identify what needs attention first.

2. Build a foundation that makes sense.

We connect your expertise, audience, problem, transformation, positioning and offer. Then we develop the essential elements of your marketing, client attraction, sales and delivery processes.

3. Address the mindset barriers that affect execution.

Building a business involves making decisions under uncertainty, being visible, communicating your value and handling rejection. When self-doubt, fear of failure, perfectionism or procrastination interfere with those actions, we address them directly using appropriate mindset techniques.

4. Take the business into the market.

You need to put your offer in front of real people, have conversations,

learn from responses and understand what the evidence tells you.

5. Develop the ability to keep going.

I want you to become increasingly confident in your own ability to make decisions, evaluate what is happening and adapt. Not because everything will always work as expected, but because you will have a structure and a way of responding when it doesn’t.

The objective isn’t to remove every doubt or make you feel ready for everything.

It is to help you develop the clarity, skills and grounded self-trust to move forward.

What I do: Business & Mindset Mentoring

I help qualified coaches and practitioners turn their expertise into a clear, sellable and sustainable coaching business — with the foundations, client-attraction strategy, sales process and systems to run it.

My approach starts with understanding what is actually happening in your business.

Rather than automatically prescribing more content, another marketing tactic or a mindset exercise, we look at the bigger picture, identify what is missing or disconnected, and establish what needs attention first.

Together, we work on:

CLARITY & POSITIONING

Clarifying who you help, the problem you solve, the transformation you offer and what makes your approach relevant to the people you want to reach.

OFFER & MESSAGING

Turning your expertise into an offer people can understand and see the value in — and communicating it in a way that connects with their needs.

MARKETING & CLIENT ATTRACTION

Building a focused strategy to reach the right people, create relevant content, develop visibility and generate opportunities for conversations with potential clients.

SALES & BUSINESS PROCESSES

Learning how to communicate your offer, handle sales conversations, follow up, deliver your service and establish processes you can repeat and improve.

MINDSET & BUSINESS OWNER IDENTITY

Developing the confidence, decision-making and resilience to navigate uncertainty, act on what you learn, and keep moving without treating every setback as proof that you cannot do this.

The aim isn’t to give you another collection of disconnected tactics to follow.

It’s to help you understand how the pieces fit together, put them into practice and develop the ability to make informed decisions about your own business.

I don’t want you to spend years questioning whether you’re capable simply because you haven’t yet figured out how to build a business.

I want you to reach a point where you can clearly explain what you’re building, who it’s for, what transformation you offer and how you intend to bring that offer to the market.

I want you to have a foundation you can rely on, a practical way to attract and work with clients, and the ability to assess and improve your business without constantly starting over.

And I want you to develop a relationship with your business in which uncertainty no longer automatically means that you’re doing something wrong.

Your expertise is the starting point. Building the business around it is the next part of your professional journey.

You don’t need to become someone else to make it work. You need to develop the skills, structure and mindset to build it.
