I started questioning whether the life I was living was really the life I wanted.
I Wanted FREEDOM.
Freedom had always been one of my biggest values: the freedom to work from anywhere, control my time, earn on my own terms, and realize more of my potential than a conventional job allowed.
I was tired of exchanging my time for a salary while feeling that my abilities, ambitions and ideas had so much more to offer.
I wanted meaningful work. I wanted to help people achieve real change. And I wanted to build something of my own.
When I discovered hypnotherapy, I fell in love with the tool.
It felt like one of the most powerful ways I had encountered to help people create change.
It seemed to bring everything together: meaningful work, the opportunity to help people, the freedom to work online, and the potential to build a business around my expertise.
I also wasn’t starting from scratch.
I had a background in international economic relations, alongside experience and learning in business, marketing, PR, and events.
I understood the importance of commercial thinking, and I was confident in my ability to work with clients.
I thought I had enough knowledge to make the business work.
If only I had known how different those two things were.
I was learning, building and trying everything I could think of.
I created a website, developed offers, built social media profiles and funnels, explored platforms and ran paid advertising.
I invested in further learning, including coaching and mentoring, and completed training in digital marketing.
Every time something didn’t work as I expected, I looked for another piece that might solve the problem.
Maybe I needed a better marketing strategy.
Maybe a different offer.
Maybe another qualification.
Maybe I needed to understand one more platform.
I kept adding pieces, hoping they would eventually come together.
But my client flow remained unpredictable, and the business wasn’t developing in the way I had envisioned.
The most frustrating part was that I wasn’t lacking ambition, expertise or willingness to work.
I simply couldn’t see what was missing from the bigger picture.
And I know how uncomfortable that can become.
You start questioning your decisions.
You compare yourself with other practitioners who seem to have figured it out.
You dread the question, “How’s your business going?” because explaining the gap between what you hoped to achieve and what’s actually happening becomes harder.
You wonder whether you’re doing something wrong, whether you’re cut out for business or whether you should start again.
I know what it’s like to be your own biggest obstacle—not because you aren’t capable, but because you can’t see clearly what needs to change.
The Realization That Changed My Direction
Eventually, I recognized that I didn’t need to keep collecting isolated strategies.
I needed to understand how the pieces fitted together.
I needed someone to look at the business as a whole, help me identify what was missing and establish what needed to happen first.
That changed how I thought about building a business.
Your expertise matters. Your passion matters. Your mindset matters. But none of these automatically creates a functioning business.
You also need to understand whom you serve, what problem you solve, how you communicate your value, what you offer, how you attract potential clients, how you sell and how you deliver your service.
These elements need to work together.
And instead of repeatedly starting over, you need a way to put your business into the market, learn from real feedback and improve what you’ve built.
As I reflected on my own experience, my commercial background, my practitioner training and everything I had learned about building a business, I became increasingly clear about where I wanted to make a difference.
I wanted to help people who had already invested in becoming good at what they do—but were struggling to turn that expertise into a functioning business.
Qualified coaches and practitioners who genuinely want to help people, but who were never taught how to build a business around that ability.
People who keep learning, changing direction and trying new tactics because they believe the next piece will finally make everything work.
I don’t believe talented practitioners should have to abandon their ambitions simply because they haven’t yet figured out the business side of their profession.
And I don’t believe the answer is automatically another course, another strategy or another expensive programme.
Sometimes, the most valuable first step is to stop, look at what you already have and understand what your business actually needs.
This is why I created my mentoring approach: to help qualified coaches and practitioners move from being capable experts who feel stuck to becoming business owners who understand how to build and develop their businesses.
We start with your actual situation—not a generic formula.
We look at what you’ve already built, what’s working, what’s missing, what’s disconnected and what may be holding you back. From there, we establish your priorities and work through the foundations your business needs.
Together, we work on your direction and positioning, your offer, your personal brand and content strategy, your client attraction and sales process, and the systems that support your client journey and day-to-day business operations.
We put those foundations into practice, take them to the market, learn from the response and refine them.
The goal is to establish a way of working you can repeat, improve, and eventually build on as you grow.
And because building a business is also a transition in identity, we address the mindset and behaviours that influence how you make decisions, handle uncertainty and respond when things don’t go to plan.
You learn to treat challenges as feedback rather than proof that you’re failing.
My background brings together commercial thinking, marketing and sales knowledge, practitioner experience and a firsthand understanding of the challenges of building a business around your expertise.
I’m not here to promise effortless success or a particular income. I’m here to help you see your business more clearly, make better-informed decisions and turn what you know into something you can put into practice.
The goal isn’t to make you dependent on me.
It’s to help you develop the clarity, skills, and confidence to operate and continue developing your own business.
Because you don’t have to give up on the business you envisioned just because you haven’t figured out how to make it work yet.
You may not need to start over.
You may need to connect the pieces, build the foundations, and give yourself a clear way forward.
You already learned how to help people.
Now let’s build the business that allows you to do it.
